Best player on the game is definately…
Sergio Mota – He’s just amazing (Only buy him if his stats (especially free-kicks) are 14+ because he can be poor on other games)
Also look at 2 keepers that vary in stats aswell
Chris Keenan – My brother is in 2012 and all of his stats are 20s except for Eccentricity and Tendancy to Punch
Beniot Costil – Another great keeper whose stats are good to start, 19-20s in about 2013 depending on Training Schedules you make!

A long time ago (specifically on February 11, 2008), I posted a message here exalting a player in the game called Souza. It is true that in that game, he turned out to be a world-class player, valued higher than Fabregas by my assistant manager. But I have since discovered he is a regen (meaning a player created specifically for that game only by the AI) as I have not found him in any of my other games.
One player I don’t see being mentioned here very much is KWABENA AGOUDA. He is 22 at the start of the game and worth less than 100,000 (he plays for St. Gallen) if I remember right. In all my games, he ends up being worth anywhere between 8 million pounds and 21 million pounds by the age of 26. He is a fantastic buy for anyone playing for lower league clubs, especially outside of England (work permit issues usually stop him from playing in England till he gets a little famous).
Another player I find to be extremely cheap but a very good player for the future is EROS CORRADINI. I usually buy him for 100,000 pounds at the start of each game (at which point he is 18 years old) and in 4-5 years, he’s ready to play as a first-choice keeper at virtually any top-tier team. His technical stats (except eccentricity) all end up being 19 or 20.
One more goalkeeper who turns out to be very good but is fairly cheap in the beginning of the game is GEOFFREY JOURDREN (plays for Montpellier Herault SC). I believe he’s 21 at the start of the game but he’s a player most FM2008 veterans know about already.
Hope my suggestions help some of you out there.
How come no ones mentioned Arturo Vidal from leverkusen u can pick him up for 7.5 mil and he plays anywhere across the back or midfield. Also ILSINHO from shahktar and piatti from estudiantes for 500k at very begining ( not really good enough for super clubs but was quality for me at ajax ).

i have got newcastle united on footy manager 08 but i dont want any expensive players.
i need some attackers, midfielders but mostly defenders.
i have a budjed 0f 15 to 20 thousand but it depends how many players i can sell.
but i want the best in the game.
please help
Attackers- Agouda, Toto Tamuz, Saivet, Aaritalo, Lomski(low profile but if you loan him a couple of seasons he will grow), Zeefuik, Aron(hard 2 get), ceravolo, vantagiatto, balotelli, nazarith, lindado.
Midfielders- Wijnaldum, ninis, dessena, sosnin, Aaritalo, Adrien(sporting lisboa), diarra(bordeaux), lulinha, bernardo(if you play 8.0.2 patch), villaluz.
defenders- vincent Kompany(5-8 mil if you wait half of season, he gets unhappy), mamadou sakho(he’s a MUST), drenthe, sidnei, rigione(hot prospect), Barzagli(very good player but hard to get), dor malul, jose san roman, saunier AND arthuro vidal(best defender), palombo and why not gareth bale but these last players are also hard to get like barzagli but world class. BEST DMC for captain is Lorik Cana from marseille(Natural born leader).

PS: Most of these players will help in about 2-3 seasons but you can buy most of them(youngsters) below 10 mil. and than sell them for billions if you don’t wan’t ‘em. GOOD LUCK! Hope I`ve helped! Btw I play with Dinamo Bucharest and now have a value over a billion(2016)
Also, never mange to won Champions League. The teams with high reputation always wins even if my match stats are favourable to me. The best kepper in he world is always the keeper of my opponents>:(

i find that holland has a lot of good players but i dont have that many players from england. my advice to you is that you look at foreign countries and click on their under 25s and stuff lk that and if it says superb and click on the player and then the club. if it says very good nhext to it or superb try that person on loan or buy them.
