I’ve invested/wasted several hours of my life coming to terms with Football Manager 2008 (or Worldwide Soccer Manager) and have identified the following players as stars of the future:

Anybody who misses out on Pablo Piatti is an idiot.
I played a season with reading having loaned him from arsenal after they bought him for £100k.
He scored over 20 goals from midfield (FOR READING!!!) and his value hit £8 million. i enquired about taking him permanently from arsenal but they would not let him go for less than £25 million. after another season where he played for arsenal his value hit £18 million.
when i started my next game with Liverpool i bought him straight away for 100k and he had the same impact. every time i start a new game i buy him.
an absolute super-star, only 18 and so cheap.

buy jay simpson for 700k he is a potential superstar mate
try Thiago Neves,Andrea Dossena,Trond Olsen and Thiago Martins they are the best player at the games. Thiago Martins scored 43 for my team in one seaso.n
im at sunderland now, signed gavin hoyte for 300k. loaned him to swindon, hes now worth 1.6, might loan him out again, not to sure tho, hes not ready for prem yet, 5cubs are intrested in to him, all championship, do you know anyone i can sign for bout 7mill at right back? need sumone who can cum straight into my first team? cheers.

johan elmander of toulouse is a great buy, £10m is not too cheap but u wont regret it i promise. also aquino, dentinho and henri lansbury have huge potential.

another good purchase is a 17 year old brazilian kid called Alex from Vasco. i bought him for about £1.2million, but he doesn’t arrive at your club until January 2008. However it is well worth the wait as in his description, he is touted as the next Ronaldinho!!

Jem Karacan of Reading is a great young player, his stats at the start dont show it but in 2 seasons he is in the prem and pulling the strings in CM
he also scores and is my captain.
I bought Saivet … Do I have to play him in first team or only train him to becom good

if your using ac milan you want to play:
a deep back four
use a diamond formation(dmc,mc,mc,amc)
two forwards!
Javi martinez is a very good player!
kerlon,sakho and saivet should however be loaned out for the 1st year.(they are however good in years to come)
and you should also buy:
modric:3.8m
defour:3m
banega:3m
(these players should be drafted into the first team)
you must also buy a striker but i cant really help you with this one because it sounds like you have already spent most of AC”S transfer budget. GOOD LUCK.

What traing scedual is the best for youngsters?
I have a few good youngsters.
Marcelo, Cricsisto, Obertan, Nasri, Distel Zola, Fabregas, Sergio Aguero, Henri Saivet, Mesones, although i’m not sure if he’s on the game all the time. I have bought most of the playters mentioned above, but none of them really did the trick. I recommend these ones.

There are 2 people I wouldn’t miss on football manager, they are Alex (who plays for Vasco) and Pablo Piatti (not sure on his club) also, you shouldn’t miss out on Benoit Costil all three of them have the potential to become leading Premier Division stars (note: I was West Ham when I found out with some rubbish scouts so Man Utd may think otherwise). There’s a list of players to buy that are young but a lot of them are pricey, such as Bojan being something like £8m which West Ham don’t have so I can never really buy him. Hope this helps! Craig
