yeah that tactic works a treat with the right central defender, the person who it suits best who i’ve had is fazio. He scored consistantly every season, You set him to challenge the keeper, and everybody else should attack far post, have the ball coming into the penallty area or 6 yard box, so that the defender is left unmarked, and maybe have your wingbacks staying back just incase the opposition counter attacks. Use a player who is strong, good heading and good jumping. Fazio is brilliant in all of these areas.

ya it works i used it with utd and vidic scoared 23 pl goals and 10 in european comp 2nd in the pl for goals.

hey

so is this corner tactic true? set 1 defender on challenge the keeper and he scored billions of goals? like, if i was west ham, would puttin anton ferdinand on challenge the goalkeeper would he score a fair amount of goals? :S

You generally just want to leave it on mixed… You have mixed targets in the box so mixing it up really helps!

Yeah i’d heard about it after i’d ran one of the updates which corrected it so never got it going. But interested to see if people did use it.

I’m playing with Sunderland atm and have got to the League Cup Final against Arsenal, and having not beaten them in the 4 encounters we have had, I just used these tactics and did them 4-2! Sure enough, 2 of the goals came from corners, my defender scoring 2 after being set to ‘challenge keeper’. You are a legend mate, thanks and nice one!!!!
