This is my first post, and I’m just generally interested to see who people rate as the best players in the game. We all know about the Ronaldo’s, Messi’s and Torres’ of the game, but how many people actually use them, and in what formation do they play them. So the idea of this is just to see how people operate their fantasy teams.
Ok you have the budget of Mark Hughes and can buy any player in the world. Below put together your own dream line ups. It’s been a year since the game was released so it should be pretty clear to you all who is worth having and who is not. To get the ball rolling i shall post my own. Feel free to comment, but i would suggest not bad-mouthing someone else’s team unless you have the nuts to post your own for criticism.
You can have the obvious 11 starters in the formation you’d use, and then 5 Bench players.

Gonzalez is a bit old after a few seasons but still awesome. I was Arsenal, but they’ve still got some awesome young guys. Traore is BY FAR the best left back, and Vela and Aguero are also BY FAR the best strikers. I went for Lulinha over Ronaldo as he’s far cheaper (even though budget isn’t an issue). De Silvestri starts with Lazio, but makes great tackles. Atienza is awesome on a bad day and Connolly develops into a great player after several years with Arsenal. Saivet is the most promising left winger as he scores a stupid amount from there. As for the subs, Fraga is a technically great young Mexican keeper, though he does make errors; and Mancienne is v.good. Finally, Francisco Merida (arsenal youth) develops into a fantastic Cesc Fabregas mimic if played regularly.
I CANT STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF CARLOS VELA, HENRI SAIVET AND ARMAND TRAORE. ALL THREE ARE AMAZING.

My subs are mainly youth players so I wont bother listing them.
Admittedly I did inherit nearly half the team from the existing squad but in all honesty I’m yet to find any better from League 1/Championship.
David Bell is a superb player who will get a ton of assists and the odd goal. Cenkauskas scores a hat full and Moses grows into one of the best strikers from England. The problem is keeping on to them! By the time you get to the higher echelons of the championship, these players who were no more than a £100,000 each or less (with the exception of Keiran Lee)
will be worth at least somewhere in the region of £1-2 million, Moses and Bell maybe a little more. If you’ve invested in good youth players you can sell those who are getting big for their boots for a tidy profit and fill your team with young superstars! Hurrah!
