In FM08 I choose to manage England, Chelsea and Newcastle. I like many others I love signing English wonderkids (which is crucial if you’re managing England as a country) however it seems like most of the good wonderkids in FM09 are from other countries so here is a list of some of the player who have impressed me so far on FM09 and were great on FM08;
Players who are top four Premier League standard
- Billy Sharp – Sheffield United
- Ryan Taylor – Wigan
- Steven Taylor -Newcastle
- Curtis Davies – Aston Villa
- Scott Flinders- Crystal Palace
- Leighton Baines – Everton
- Giles Barnes – Derby
- Nedum Onuoha – Man City
Players who I would consider good enough to play for England
- Joe Mattock – Leicester
- Michael woods – Chelsea
- Michael Johnson – Man City
- Adam Johnson – Middlesbrough
- Victor Moses- Crystal Palace
- Paul Anderson – Nottingham City
- Scott Sinclair – Chelsea
- Matt Derbyshire -Blackburn
- Chris Taylor – Oldham
These are all of the players that I have found and would consider as wonderkids if you have any other suggestions excluding all of the obvious ones then please comment .

koroma he is currently on loan with norwich but from chelsea A MUST BUY PLAYER….set him as target man up front on own and has a good game scored 28 in 39 games………..

for arsenal use these top (underrated) players for success:D
goal – scottt filnders ( you need a new number one and he fitws the bill perfectly
Centre backs- Nedum Onuoha and Breno or tal ben haim
full backs – joe mattock – ryan taylor- leighton baines
dm – jean 2 makoun or ever banega
cm – willian , piatti , sergio auegero , micheal woods,Giles Barnes
wingers – chris taylor,paul anderson, stewart downing,clieton xavier
strikers – these are must have players I cant stress this enough – fredric kanoute , billy sharp, wagner love, and use carlos vela who you already have
I would also class all of these good enough aswell some of them will take a season or two though

As a Forest fan I feel the need to highlight this glaring error.
Also, Daniel Sturridge of man City, you can get him on a free at the end of the first season quite often if you’re a half decent team and he’s good. One for the future though. I’ve got him at AC Milan, my scouts reckon he’ll be as good as Owen (signed for 6.25million, scored 19 goals – bargain)but I’ve shipped him out on loan for now.
Also, he’s obvious but Lescott is ace – he defends but if you try and get him in the box for corners and aim at him then he scores loads, got two, and a cleansheet on his debut for me.

Lescott is good in some games but in mine he isnt a very good player.

Morgan Schneiderlin (although not english) is absolute quality. 3 mil from southampton at start of game. and two seasons later he’s my captain and a full international for France.
oh yea jozy altidore from villareal as well he is MIIIIIIINT. bought him for 5 mil half way through a season and by the end of it man u came in with a 33.5 mill bid!!!!!! OH YEA.
