Well Football Manager 2010 (FM2010) is coming and we all know when you start the game one of the first things you do is to have a little look at those free transfer deals to get you going. The pickings maybe are not quite as good as they have been in past years but here is a little list of a few players I think are worth a little punt on the free transfer market in Football Manager 2010 (FM2010). This is a little guesswork at this stage but I’ll amend and update once the game is out on Friday.
Attackers
David Conolly – ST, age 32: Great little signing for League 1 clubs
Rune Lange – ST, age 32: Effective target man at mid to low Championship level and below
Michael Mifsud – ST, 28: Will do a great job at League 1 level
Ebi Smolarek - ST, age 28: Very effective in the Championship and lower end Premiership sides
Midfielders
Dietmar Hamann – DM/MD, age 35: GREAT signing for Championship sides although might only sign for some of the bigger ones
Ivan Campo – DM/MC, age 35: Like Hamann will do a great job in the Championship
Matty Holland - DM/MC, age 35: Good signing in League 1 and maybe at the lower end of the Championship
David Noble – AMC, age 27: Good for League 1 but probably not higher
Defenders
Sol Campbell – DC, age 36: Won’t cut the mustard in the Premiership but very effective in the Championship.
Lauren – DR , age 32: Good solid right back for Championship sides

Steven Appiah is available for nothing and can do a decent job for Prem teams, as well as a Morrocan, Abderrahman Kabous (I may have spent the first name worng!). Kabous is oustanding in the Championship.
Seyfo Soley is a strong Championship/Lg 1 defender, but get him to play short, simple passes.

David Beckham MRC he is old but he is great, then Ronaldo, Deco and one player you have probably forgat is Adriano in Flamengo, he maybe is a bad boy but he is a great Striker…
jorge soto. 37 year old can play midfield and defence hes free. even though hes old still very quick aswell. bought im for hearts scored in his first 3 games.
Doni is a good solid player, scored a few goals in the Prem for me and has a good eye for a pass, think he’s 36 though. Also Ayala (The centre back) did a good job for me as backup (for Liverpool), average rating of 7.4 and scored a couple of goals
Branimir Kostadinov ST – good for BSP and League 2.

I signed Robert Pires in the middle of my second season with Ipswich. He ended the season being a regular starter and scored some vital goals in my promotion Season. Is good in the prem for 1 season as well.
got latest updates also. A real challenge is managing Palace. start on -10. and average wage offer for key player of 400 quid p/w. very very challenging!!!!!!
Can’t believe your list are all about aged players, while I do agree they are awesome, I personally like to train the promising youngsters and see they rock on the court.
