If your looking for a great defensive midfielder who makes perfect tackles, holds up the ball, plays great passes and allows attacking mids to do what they do then you got to sign Vass. You can get him for around £2.8m and he is well worth that!

Well the most straight forward way is to hire yourself a scout with good attributes for scouting a players potencial and send them out scouting and see what they come back with.

James Rodriguez is massively overpriced. He is valued at £500k yet to buy him you need to pay around £20 million. As i'm typing this, he accepted a £17 million bid, yet he refused to hold contract talks with me. I am Man City on the demo, just to get an estimate of what these players are going to cost in the actual game. Here is what I have found.
After signing all the players below, i couldn't afford Pjanic. Lyon were refusing £25 million for him though. So expect to pay alot for him.
Alexis Sanchez is great but he costs around £12 million. However when the game starts he isn't too much different to James Milner, with the potential to be better than him.
Zezinho (AMC) – £6 Million (Potential to be as good as David Silva)
Vaclav Kadlec (ST) – £3 Million
Romelu Lukaku (ST) – £8 Million
Piotr Parzyszek (ST) – Free (You need to make an offer as soon as the game starts, Barca and Man Utd are interested in him as soon as the game starts so make a solid offer with a higher than suggested wage. He is worth it, set to be as good or better than Tevez)
Atila Turan (LWB) – £3.5 Million
Moussa Sissoko (CM) – £11 Million
Sergio Araujo (ST) – £2 Million
Arsenio Valpoort (ST) – £1.5 Million (Act quickly as Man Utd show interest. Will need good training regime)

Nicolas Lodeiro (CM) – £8 Million

Ahmed Khalil and Andrej Kramaric (Both ST) couldn't get work permits, but looked good signings.

17 years old Belgian international, Romelu Lukaku of Anderlecht is very promising in FM2011 Demo version… At his stat you can already put him as starting 18 in any of the premier league side…
I play for Liverpool, and Jonjo Shelvey is already in the starting lineup in most of the game i played throughout the demo version. He is a very consistent performer. Of 15 games he played in the first team, his performance rating is above 7.5, scoring 4 and and 8 assist, with 3 man of the match…

I have the demo of FM2011 and so the best wonderkids who come South America IMO is Neymar and Leonel Galeneo. In Europe, there are wonder kids but they are much more expensive to transfer. Players like Jack Wilshere(Arsenal), Josh McChecran(Chelsea) and there is a 17 yr old in the Dutch League who's last name starts with "C" Forgot what it was though
